A wonderful evening! 430 people gathered at the Brownstone to celebrate ECCR. The Beefsteak and Silent Auction was a success. All proceeds from the event will be used for the renovations to the Belmont Group Home in North Haledon. Next year's festivities are scheduled for March 4, 2014.

ECCR caught the holiday spirit on December 15 when Holiday Express performed their annual Christmas Show. The Wyckoff YMCA hosted us for this festive event. Our residents, their families, staff, volunteers and friends joined together for this fun fill afternoon. Singing, dancing and laughter made this day fantastic. We are so pleased that the wonderful people of Holiday Express join us every year for this fun afternoon.

Renovations are finally complete at the Hilltop Group Home. Our generous donors including Angels of Hope, Atlantic Stewardship Bank, Boye Foundation, Columbia Bank Foundation, Estate of Elizabeth Pfund, ECCR Beefsteak Dinner, ECCR Foundation, Dankis Christian Foundation, and Vincek & Petrocci Architects made this possible. On October 13 many supporters and families gathered for the Grand Re-Opening. An enlarged kitchen, new and remodeled bathrooms, expanded deck, and new front entry make this house a beautiful home for 5 individuals.

The 47th Annual Country Fair was held on September 29. This festive event serves as a venue for families, friends and community members to come together for a fun filled afternoon while supporting ECCR. Participants enjoyed food, rides, games, over 80 vendor booths, crafts, the bake off and entertainment.

The first Annual Bake Off was a success. Thanks to Christopher DePhillips, Amanda Luongo, Rosie Saferstein, and Lee Tremble; the professional judges who volunteered to pick the winner of tophe cupcake category. The professional and home bakers amazed everyone with their delicious creations. Also new this year were performances by Studio L Dance Studio and the Wyckoff Library Flash Mob. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year at the 48th Annual Country Fair.

The ECCR backyard was transformed into a little piece of Hawaii for our 3rd annual luau. Holiday Express volunteered their musical talents for the show. This was a great way to kick off the summer. A fun tme was had by all.

On June 6, 2012 ECCR hosted a Thank You Celebration for the Fire Departments and Ambulance Corps of Wyckoff, Midland Park, Hawthorne, and North Haledon. The departments do so much for ECCR and our residents. We were happy to celebration all they do.

On June 7, 2012 many of the dedicated ECCR volunteers gathered at in the backyard for the Annual Volunteer Recognition Brunch.

Holiday Express shared the spirit of Christmas with ECCR during their annual holiday visit. This group of talented volunteer musicians put on a spectacular interactive show for our staff, residents and their families. Our friends at the Wyckoff YMCA donated the use of their gym for this festive party. This is one of our favorite events.
