The Annual Beefsteak Dinner
and Silent Auction was a success. The
proceeds from the event will benefit the
renovations at Hilltop Group Home. The
renovations will increase the accessibility of
the home for the residents. We thank
everyone who attended the event and look forward
to seeing you next year. |

ANTHONY KEARNS SINGS - August 23, 2009 |
|
 World
renowned Irish Tenor Anthony Kearns performed
for the benefit of the ECCR. On August 23
a concert was held at the Cornerstone Christian
Church featuring the beautiful music on Anthony
Kearns. He is a founding member of the
Irish Tenor and has been recognized as Ireland's
Finest Tenor. It was a wonderful afternoon
that everyone enjoyed.

EAGLE PROJECT COMPLETED AT ECCR - 2009 |

The Eastern
Christian Children’s Retreat in Wyckoff has a
new patio and planting garden. Brian Jaeger, of
Emerson Boy Scout Troop 67, recently completed
his Eagle Scout project at the ECCR. This
project was a major undertaking that required a
great deal of planning and organization. Brian,
with the assistance of the boy scouts and his
family, transformed an overgrown area into a
wheelchair accessible space for the residents
and their families to enjoy for many years.
